Abilezi (ah-bee-LEH-see) is a Basque word meaning ability, skill, and dexterity. I studied in Spain during college, and the Basque Country was one of my favorite places to visit. When it came time to name this company, abilezi felt right — it captures exactly what I want to help engineers build.

The craft of AI engineering goes beyond model architectures and Python libraries. It’s shipping reliable products, building effective teams, and making good technical decisions under uncertainty. That kind of skill is usually learned on the job, over time, through hard-won experience.
